ILM

السلام عليكم،

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم،

As-Salaamu Alaikum,
Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem,

(May Peace (And the Guidance to the truth of Islaam), be upon you),

[With the name of Allah The most Merciful, The owner of vast Mercy],

The below Quranic Ayaats will be used insha’Allah, as a support reference to our mission.

As we hope to assist the people by cleaning the community from; Drugs, Gun Violence, Alcoholism, Domestic Abuse, Mental and Social Abuse and stigmas, Sex Trafficking, and all other crimes that destroy our community.

We attend to each one reach one, from one muslim to another muslim.
One person at a time, then we will reach the families, and one family at a time, will help us change the neighborhood, one neighborhood at a time will allow us to change the community for the good, then community enlightenment will lead to Nation enlightenment as the winning example is emulated accross the board, by Allah’s leave, Insha’Allah.

As we know that the condition right now of the people is not good! And this degradation of the society will not change untill we as a people change ourselves for the better.

(So Government and political leaders, and large corporations with trickle down mentality has not and will not work, [untill Allah allow the people to change] the hearts of most of the people seeking power have been corrupt),

So, we have to each individually want and strive to change ourselves, and our families, then our communities, in order for righteousness to rise up from us. (Bi-idhinillah) with the help of Allah!

As the Prophet has mentioned, the leaders are chosen from the people, so if the people are corrupt, then the leaders (chosen from them), will be corrupt! Also, if the people in society are righteous then the leaders chosen from those people, (will be righteous)!

This is how we change ourselves, and our families, our communities, and indeed the fortune of the coming future generations.
But only by the permission and leave of Allah.

Insha’Allah!

(Surah tul Muhammad Ayaat 19)

So (be firm in your) knowledge (O Muḥammad) that none has the right to be worshipped except Allāh [The Creator and Master of the Universe](alone). And seek forgiveness for your sin and for (the sin of) the believing men and women. And Allāh knows of your movement (during the daytime, or in this world) and your resting place (during the night, or in the hereafter).

(Surah tul Nisaa Ayaat 37)

Those who are miserly and enjoin miserliness on other men and hide what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounties. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a disgraceful torment.

(Surah tu Al-A’rad The Thunder) Ayaat 11.

For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allah. -[“Verily! Allah will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves”]-
(by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allah). But when Allah wills a people’s punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector.

Using these verses in our studies we hope to teach the youth to firstly learn who their creator is so they can learn to depend on their creator for sustenance, then learn their religion so they can practice and implement it to get the favors of their creator. Then learn how to treat themselves, their family, and their neighbors , so that love and compassion for their fellow man, and diversity and inclusion is recognized.

(And from the sunnah we use as a reference the hadith);

It is also authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “If Allah wills to do good to a person, He makes them comprehend Deen ‘religion’.” (Agreed upon by Imams Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

This important Hadith shows us the excellence of comprehending Din.

Comprehending religion includes understanding the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and Islam. Islam covers the basics of Shari`ah, Allah’s Ordainment’s, His Prohibitions, a servant’s duty towards Allah and other servants and Allah’s fear, glorification, and watchfulness. In fact, the first step towards attaining knowledge is fearing Allah (Exalted be He), honoring His Sanctities, and watching Him in all deeds.

Definition of Tawheed:

Linguistically (By the Language) the word TAWHEED means Singular, to make something one, or to stress the oneness of something.

a).  Lisaan ul-‘Arab (3/450) of Ibn Mandhoor

Religiously (By the Islamic Legislation) – the word TAWHEED means to single out Allah [The Lord and Creator] alone in worship.

b). Ad-Dararas Sunniyyah (1/48) of sheikh Abdur- Rahmaan ibn Hasan.

Sheikh Fawzaan stated in his Sharh kitaab At-Tawheed, min Imaam Ibn Abdul Wahaab.

In his (Explanation of The Book of Tawheed) from the Scholar Ibn Abdul Wahaab.

التوحيد وهو إفراد الله بالعبادة

AT-TAWHEED – wa Huwah Ifraadullah Bil Ibaadah

TAWHEED – Is to single out Allah alone in all acts of worship!

Sheikhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (died 728H) said: “The Tawheed with which the Messengers came with comprises of affirming that Divinity and worship belong to Allah Almighty alone, such that a person witnesses that none has the right to be worshipped except the Almighty, and that none is worshipped except Him, nor depended upon other than Him, nor are alliances or enemies made except for Him, nor is an action done except for Him. This affirmation also covers those Names and Attributes which Allah Almighty affirms for Himself, as Allah – the Most High – says

“And the God to be worshipped is only one God. None has the right to be worshipped except Him, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy.” Qur’aan – Soorah Aal-‘Imraan 3:163.

And Allah – the Most High – says: “Do not take two objects of worship. Indeed, Allah Almighty is the only Deity to be worshipped, so fear Him.” Qur’aan – Soorah Nahl 16:51.

And He – the Most High – says: “Whosoever calls upon (i.e., supplicates or prays to) other than God, for which he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not be successful.” Qur’aan – Soorah Mu’minoon 23:117.

Almighty Allah – the Most High – also says: “And ask those of our Messengers whom we sent before you: ‘Did We ever appoint objects of worship besides the Most Merciful?'”  Qur’aan – Soorah Az-Zukhruf 43:45.

And what proves the importance of Tawheed from the Sunnah is that the Chosen one – may the peace and blessings of God be upon him – remained in Makkah thirteen years amongst the disbelievers, calling them to it, and saying to them: “Say: None has the right to be worshipped except Almighty God and thus be successful . . . “.  Related by Ahmad (4/63).

Similarly, he would send his Companions to various communities ordering them with this Tawheed first – as was the case when he sent Mu’aadh ibn Jabal to Yemen, saying: “Indeed you are going to a people from the People of the Book, so let the Tawheed of Allah be the very first thing you call them to . . . “

Related by al-Bukhaaree (1/13) and Muslim (1/272), from Ibm ‘Abbass – may Allah be pleased with him.
